At Adventure Safe, we understand that plans can change. This policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding cancellations and refunds for our first aid training courses.
Your Cancellation Rights:
- You have the right to cancel your booking for a training course. To do so, you must notify us in writing (via email to) as soon as possible. Please include your name, course name, and booking date.
- The date of cancellation will be the date on which we receive your written notification.
Cancellation Timelines and Refunds:
The following refund policy applies based on the notice period provided:
- More than 30 days before the course start date: You will receive a full refund of the course fee.
- 7 – 30 days before the course start date: You will receive a full refund of the course fee, minus a £10.00 administrative charge.
- Less than 7 days before the course start date: You will receive a 50% refund.
Transfers:
- Subject to availability, you may be able to transfer your booking to an alternative date or course of the same value, provided you notify us in writing at least 15 days before the original course start date.
- Transfers are not guaranteed within 15 days of the course start date we will however do our best to accommodate.
Non-Attendance:
- In the event of non-attendance on the course date without prior notification, no refund will be offered.
Cancellation by Adventure Safe:
Adventure Safe reserves the right to cancel a training course due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to insufficient participant numbers, instructor illness, or adverse weather conditions that could compromise safety.
In the event of a cancellation by Adventure Safe, you will be offered the following options:
- A full refund of the course fee.
- A transfer to an alternative course date or another course of the same value, subject to availability.
- Adventure Safe will endeavour to provide you with as much notice as possible in the event of a cancellation. However, we cannot be held liable for any consequential losses or expenses incurred by you as a result of a cancellation.
Special Considerations:
- For group bookings, the cancellation policy will be agreed upon at the time of booking and outlined in your booking confirmation.
- In exceptional circumstances, such as serious illness or injury (supported by appropriate documentation), we may consider a partial refund or transfer outside of the standard policy at our discretion.
How Refunds are Processed:
- Refunds will be processed using the original method of payment within 14 days of the cancellation being confirmed.
